Abstract :
A permanent magnet axial flux dual disk rotor coreless stator generator is normally used for low speed. This generator is suitable for use in wind power applications in Indonesia due to wind speed in Indonesia is among the types of wind at low speed. Generator of this type are more easy to built, but the design optimization of these generators must be taken into account. This study presents the comparison of effect quantity pole and permanent magnet pole shape in the rotor to get the optimization of the value of the output voltage and frequency. In this project conducted a simulation of the variation of the number of magnetic 4 poles, 6 poles and 8 poles and variations in the shape of the magnetic rectangular pole shape, trapezoidal pole shape and mixture pole shape in the rotor to get the voltage value optimization by using software Visual Studio.Net. In this project conducted a simulation of the influence of the number and shape of the magnet on the rotor to get the optimization of the value of the output voltage and frequency with the help of software Visual Studio.Net. The result shows that design construction of rotor with 8 poles and trapezoidal pole shape produce maximum output voltage.
