Abstract :
For the development of electric power systems, it is needed an accurate planning in order to avoid excessive investment but also has no shortage of power in the system. Until now, load estimates has a lot of done for active power estimates, but is is rarely for reactive power estimates. In this essay, writer will discuss how engineering estimates reactive power needed in electric power system, how reactive power relations associated with the development of active power. Reactive power problem will be related to the problem of voltage and also losses in the system.
