Abstract :
A power plant requires its own power supply to use, personal use is used to supply power plant unit during operation. Personal use system at UBP unit steam power plant West Java 2 Pelabuhan Ratu gets the supply power of 150 kV Java- Bali system via Station Service Transformer (SST) at the time of the Black Out or unit is not in operation yet and through Unit Auxiliary Transformer (UAT) during normal operation. At UBP steam power plant in West Java 2 Pelabuhan Ratu, UAT is used to meet the needs of the Board Unit A and Unit B. SST has two load which Board Station A is supplied by SST 1 and Station Board B is supplied by SST 2. The burdens on 6.3 kV Station Board is particularly important to keep the reliability of system especially protection system used. Therefore, the settings on the system protection and coordination is evaluated in order to increase the operational reliability of generating units.
