Abstract :
The substation grounding system usually use the conductors which are installed under the ground that form a shape like net called grid. There are 2 kinds of grid grounding system, equally spaced grounding grid and unequally spaced grounding grid. Grid are consist of mesh. For equally spaced grounding grid the size (length and width) of the mesh are equal, while for the unequally spaced grounding grid the size of the mesh are unequal. In this thesis we will compare which one is the most economic in the calculation of equally and unequally spaced grounding grid to achieve the most optimal conductor retrenchment.
