Abstract :
As the state electricity company, PT PLN (Persero) have to keep would meet the electricity needs for the people. Therefor, Absolute thing to be done is to build a power plant and main station. With technological progress, every main station newly constructed should be equipped with the newest technology. There are a new technology to main station named SAS (Substation Automation System), or in terms of PLN named SOGI (Sistem Otomasi Gardu Induk). This expected to replace the system of control conventional become more modern. In a Control System, SOGI system capable of replacing conventional panel switch to a computerized system in HMI (Human Machine Interface). So that the level of efficiency and accuracy from main station being increased. In a report this skripsi, will be discussed about the system SOGI using computer HMI with communication protocols IEC61850 using software enervista viewpoint monitoring and relay BCU F650 of GE
