Abstract :
Distortion harmonics is distortion formation of wave with a frequency which is not fundamental frequency. Voltage or current wave sinusoidal that may be nonsinusoidal since these harmonics distortion. Distortion harmonics caused by nonlinear load. Non-linear load connected to the transformer of 60 MVA in substations Panakkukang cause distortion of harmonics in the transformer. Presence of harmonics will effect the current rms in the transformer increase losses on the transformer. Increased losses will impact the temperature rise in the transformer
