Abstract :
Indonesia Power supply developments indicates that the power plant coal power plant holds the role of the largest 60%, combine cycle power plant (PLTGU) with fuel gas taking the second position, It is caused by the fuel cost of the cheapest specifically coal. There is interconnection system unit in thermal power plant and a hydro power plant unit that is interconnected each other. The thermic generating unit that roles of a big interconnection (10.000 MW) is steam power plant (PLTU) that uses fuel coal and combine cycle power plant (PLTGU) that uses fuel gas or BBM. Loading of system always changes as a function of time while the frequency value have to constant, It needs control system of generating unit, in order to it can contribute of interconnection system frequency setting. In the thesis will be discussed how to control system in a combine cycle power plant (PLTGU) of contributing with interconnection system frequency setting.
