Abstract :
The need for electricity continues to increase over time, with the increasing population growth that followed the development of commercial and residential construction sectors of industry. Increased demand for electrical energy will encourage each electricity producer to provide a reliable electricity supply and efficient. Increased demand for electricity should be supplied through a network of 150 kV, while the number of plants that supply power directly to the 150 kV network are limited, so that there is competition in producing electricity supply to 150 kV network. These circumstances becomes a problem for PT.PJB UP Gresik which operate PLTGU Block 3 which has been supplying electric power 500 kV with gas fuel, where to meet the network load of 500 kV PT. PJB UP Gresik was not able to compete with plants that use coal fuel. In order to maintain the production of PLTGU Block 3, the chosen alternative move the distribution of power output PLTGU Block 3 from 500 kV to 150 kV so PT.PJB UP Gresik can compete with other power producers in producing electricity. The transfer of the distribution of power output Power Plant Block 3 The effect on gas absorption and optimal loading PLTGU Block 3 in the absorption of gas and charging stations become very vital for the production of electricity remains reliable and efficient
