Abstract :
Material padat is one component that hold important role in supporting the success of a project. Therefore, it is necessary to identify solid materials in a project and solution in handling construction waste by Waste Hierarchy method. This research was also conducted to identify the amount of construction waste and to know how to apply the dominant construction waste management that happened. This case study study was on the Fly Over Kramasan project in Palembang. The methods used for data collection are interviews, observation to resource persons such as contractor, supervisory consultant, workshop coordinator (Material padat storage) and Quality Control and data processing techniques to determine the amount of waste dominant. Data analysis using quantitative analysis to know the type and quantity of waste of construction materials that tested by using Material padat Management study formula Volume 03 Number 01 Year 2014, 0 - 216 to get the rest of the dominant construction material. The remaining waste of dominant construction waste is studied descriptively about waste management strategy construction with the method of Waste Hierarchy 3R (Reduce ie Reduce with the intent to do the prevention of the rest of the material, Reuse is Reuse with the intention is the Reuse of construction waste that can still be used to the material padat and Recycle is recycling which is the process of processing waste back into construction material padat construction).
