Abstract :
As we know sun is a living source for humalife which God creates as completeness of earth elements. Energy of sun is available in big quantity, it is not polutif, it wil never be unused up but free to consume. Therefore, this energy source is used for electricity through PLTS system. PLTS uses sun radiation to produce DC electricity that can be changed to AC electricity. Howover to optimalize more the absurption of sun radiation from the PLTS that can be done by moving the solar panel using solar tracking system. This system works by making vertical position of the solar panel toward sun radiance direction. In solar tracking system exists motor stepper that control automatically the solar panel movement. As the data that had been collected at 07.00 until 18.00 showed the increase of average power of PLTS salemo from 52,036 kW to 89,606 kW after using solar tracking system.thus load energy which is produced also increased from 530,771 kWh to 915,028 kWh. Based on economic properness. Then, solar tracking system used by PLTS is proper to be done
