Abstract :
Protection system plays an important role in securing equipment and transmission line protection equipment. On the extra high voltage line networkto distribute electrical energy is often impaired, it is because the wires on high voltage wires stretched in an open space with high altitude wires. Disorder is a disorder that often occurs while, some of which are caused by lightning strikes the ground wire conductor transmission. When lightning strikes the ground wire near the substation, then the fault current will flow to the switch yard area so as to eliminate the noise current by opening circuit breaker and then short circuit missing the circuit breaker re-close. In order to keep the continuity of distribution of electrical energy channeled, then open and close quickly so that the circuit breaker should be used protection relays. The re-close of circuit breaker because getting inisiate from auto-reclose relays. Work system of auto-reclose because getting inisiate from distance relays + DEF and shynchro check relays with data setting relaysthat has been determined.
