Abstract :
Purbalingga which is the second level administrative government has a population of 848.952 inhabitants. With an average yield of 150 m3 of which 70% is organic waste. Almost half of the area is paddy. With the average amount of waste rice straw at 185.540 tonnes. In addition, cow manure, which reached 240.48 tons per day. With the composition of the 60 tons of organic waste, 200 tons of rice straw and 150 kg of cow dung, it can generate electricity by using techniques 5258.82 kW.Dengan economy where bank interest 10% and 12% then it can be known whether or not the plant PLTBG, with NPV greater than 0 and the IRR is greater than bank interest.
