Abstract :
In addressing disruption or damage early cable , it is necessary to test the dielectric and knowing the design of the cable is intended to determine the quality and the reliability of the cable is either used or not . In the medium voltage distribution network ( 20kV ) , in big cities , especially Jakarta widely used ground cable 20 kV. 20 kV ground cables are relatively rare disorder , but in case of disruption requires a long time . To overcome needed repairs telebih first , also locate the interference is quite difficult . Therefore , the desired quality of reliable and good cable so that the amount of interference is minimized
