Abstract :
Retaining wall construction is a structure built to hold the land sloped / slope where the soil stability can not be guaranteed by the land itself. In the discussion of this writing there is reinforcement on the ground. With the same concept as reinforced concrete, reinforcement in the form of sheet soil reinforcement, geogrid which rely on high tensile strength. As concrete hold press, reinforcing withstand tensile, then the reinforcement on the ground is useful to form composite materials that work together to withstand loads that work in construction, in this case the construction of retaining wall. In planning, retaining wall must be able to withstand the loads acting on it, whether it's outside or from internal. So, planning is checked whether it has qualified internal and external stability. This thesis aims to determine the stability of theexternal and internal of the retaining wall on the project Mass Rapid Transit Jakarta so stable against style bolsters, shear forces and the soil bearing capacity (external stability) and steady against the pulling reinforcement, breaking reinforcement and against the failure of global stability. As well as the estimated cost of construction of retaining wall. Calculation of earth pressure calculated using Rankine Theory, calculation of stability against collapse is calculated based on Terzaghi equation. Internal stability is calculated by the method of Bishop. As well as construction cost estimates were calculated by the method of SNI and field. The results of the calculation of external stability is said to be secure against rolling force of 4.15 ? 2 and 0.95 ? 2 ? 1.5 for the shear force is said to be unsafe. And the safe carrying capacity of 5.05 ? 3. The results of calculations of internal stability, namely the failure of the global stability of 2.49> 2 are said to be safe. As well as the budget of retaining wall construction cost of the MRT project is Rp. 93,743,747,653.
