Abstract :
As state- owned enterprises, PT PLN persero manage to supply the electric energy optimally. In order to utilize dan maintain the quality of the electrical energy, a system of maintenance and protection if substation electrical equipment are required. Transfomer testing performed to maintain the durability and reliability (time) of power system, especially power transformers that have an important role in the distribution of electricity. Therefor, periodic testing of power transformer is neede, so that in case there is an abnormality on the transformer, a further investigation can be done immediately., thus the failure of the transformer during operation can be avoided.
