Abstract :
A power system in general consist of components designed to identify the power system. It work based on informations such as fault current, voltage or phase angle between them information gathered will be used to compare magnitudes with its magnitude threshold setting of the protection equipments. If the magnitudes exceed the threshold of the protection equipment, than this equipment will work. Wheater conditions influence the performance of distribution system to over come this 20 KV knowledege of feeder distribution protection equipment is needed the potential transformer, current transformers. Basic of 20 KV feeder protection must be considererd.
