Abstract :
Water levels are a lot of parameters to be monitored and analyzed the changes, especially in certain seasons and circumstances. It is closely related to many natural disasters that may be caused by the floods, tsunamis and others. During this monitoring river water levels are stiil conducted using manual tools in the form of the scale height of water stood the sidelines of the river or the bridge. This has limited primarily to the buildup of sediment at the bottom of the river, thus reducing the accuracy of measurement. The purpose of this study is to open / close the sluice gates on the dam automatically and monitoring the water levels in dams are displayed visually displayed through evolving technologies of communication such as smart phones that facilitate of a dam operator to monitor water levels at a dam. Prototype monitoring water levels in dams using android based cctv and sluice gates open or close automatically it is necessary, to reduce the losses that may be caused by humans
