Abstract :
This modern era, many offices use a network connected to carry out the work process. LAN (Local Area Network) into a choice of several offices to perform the work process, but the problem is whether the personal computers on the network can run well and if there is trouble (damage) can be solved quickly in the notice and the right so that the job runs smoothly. When the maintenance man had to face the problem, it would be better done automatically without eliminating manual work in a notification or notification tissue damage. So, this application is made to resolve the disconnection problem of personal computers on the network automatically notification via sms. The system is designed and built to solve the problem notification and notification when the personal computer (PC) automatically and quickly. This system uses a programming language Visual Basic.NET 2008 and SQL Server 2005 by using additional tools, namely the TP-LINK WR740N Router and Modem Wavecom Usb M130b. With a system of "Personal Computer Disconnected Application, Automatic Notification via SMS on LAN (Local Area Network) Case Study of PT PLN (Persero) Jakarta and Tangerang area Cikokol". This is expected to help notify or disclose the information if any of the personal computer (PC) is disconnected at the network in PT PLN (Persero) Jakarta and Tangerang Area Cikokol
