Abstract :
ABSTRACT The use of new renewable energy is growing, one of which is by relying on solar energy as its energy source. The construction of a solar power plant requires good planning so that the solar power plant that has been built can work optimally. In this study solar power plant development planning will be carried out in the BPSKL Building in Maluku Papua Region with an On Grid operating system of 12 kWp. this system was chosen because it wanted to reduce the use of electricity from PLN because it was directly connected to the PLN grid which would also bring benefits from returning electricity sales with PLN. The planning that has been done is obtained by the value of Performance Ratio of 85% so that it can be said to be feasible because it is more than 70% minimum limit of Performance Ratio. Based on financial calculations, this plan requires an investment cost of Rp.193,524,197. This plan is profitable if developed and returns on capital occur in the 12th and 4th month of the project life of 15 years. In general, this project is also promising because it is seen from the smaller cost per kWh (Rp.1,650, -) from PLN's BPP. (Rp.2,275, -).
