Abstract :
Glass powder produced from waste glass bottles are crushed. Utilization of glass bottles are expected to address the problems of inorganic garbage that is not easily described, in addition also the utilization of powder glass to reduce the dependence of fine aggregate use of nature as well as being an alternative environmentally-friendly construction materials. On the research of manufacture of concrete brick solid with add this glass powders used five variations of the mixture that is, 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% against the fine aggregate (sand), as well as her treatment period for 7, 14, 21, and 28 days. From this research are expected to know the comparison of strong press optimum concrete brick solid with conventional concrete brick solid in substitution with waste glass powder so as to know the unit price analysis of concrete brick solid has been in glass powder substitution against the sand. From the research results known strong value press the highest found in variations ensure optimum comparison of glass powder 10 % against the sand that obtained the value of strong press of 72,29 Kg/cm2 so including into quality level II. On the variation of comparison substitution glass powder 0 % obtained strong press 65,21 Kg/cm2 including into quality level III, variation of glass powder 5 % obtained strong press 67,92 Kg/cm2 including into quality level III, variation of glass powder 15 % obtained strong press 69,79 Kg/cm2 including into quality level III and variation of glass powder 20 % obtained strong press 65,31 Kg/cm2 including into quality level III. Quality level requirements outlined appropriate in SNI 03-0349-1989 that requires that for quality level III strong press a minimum of the average brick solid concrete is of 40 kg/cm2 and for quality level II Firmly press the average solid concrete brick is 70 kg/cm2. From the results of strong press on the highest optimum variation comparison of glass powder 10% substitution with fine aggregate on concrete brick making solid obtained analysis of unit price bricks concrete solid amounting to IDR 10.225,-
