Abstract :
The Transformator has function of serves to channel electric power from high voltage to low voltage or vice versa. The rise of harmonic on the transformer caused by the non linear load operation. Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) on transformer can increase of losses therefore will be influential on the efficiency of the transformer. In this study measurements of the THD on distribution transformer in PT. Hawaii Confectionery Factory for one week where the measurement of THD are compared with the calculation result. THDv based on the average result measurement is 0,80% and result of calculation is 0,78% and the result still meet the IEEE 519-1992 standard that is 5%. While the THDi on the average result measurement is 3,40% and for the result calculation is 3,015% and still meet the SPLN D5.004-1:2012 standard that is 8%. Based on the result of the THD for one week that the increase of losses as the effect THD is 21,4987 kW and the obtained efficiency calculation result is 95,76% where without the influence of harmonic is 98,02%.
