Abstract :
PT. PLN (Persero) is a state-owned company that provides electricity to the public and is provided to provide quality assurance of electrical energy distribution that meets standards and is reliable. All that is offered here is approval, continuity, and approval by the government. To find out the level of risk in a system, there are generally two index parameters, namely SAIDI (System Average Disruption Duration Index) which is the average value for a subscription that fails for one year. And SAIFI (System Mean Interference Frequency Index) which is the average number that occurs per customer taken per unit time. This thesis describes an improvement review that helps to find out the value of the SAIDI and SAIFI indexes as well as efforts to minimize the disruption. This study uses a quantitative method by comparing the values of SAIDI and SAIFI before and after differences in improvements. This research was conducted on the Balong Panggang Feeder at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Gresik. After conducting research, the results of SAIDI in 2017 and 2018 were 2,569 and 1,305 hours / customer / year and SAIFI were 3,006 and 1,899 outages / customers / year with the highest amount of funds depending on the trees in each network. Improvement efforts by implementing ROW cleanliness, the use of Tree Guard, and installation of MVTIC. The results of SAIDI and SAIFI after assuming improvements are made, namely SAIFI 1,147 outages / customers / year and SAIDI 0.731 hours / customers / year and have met the SPLN 59 of 1985 standards.
