Abstract :
A single electric motor cannot produce two or more speeds, with hard and sloping characteristics, the demands of the process require a pump with various speeds and no change in speed, which is significant when there is a change in torque at the pumping, in this essay choose the electric drive setting VVVF as the piston pump drive because it has many advantages in several ways. Where using a rectifier circuit in parallel, the capacitor bank as a filter and inverter as a frequency regulator and voltage, it can produce several speeds on the induction motor. In a good design must consider the electrical hazards that occur, especially the electrical hazards to living things by protecting the installation and the motor then in this essay calculations are made of short circuit current 32,3 kA, resistance grounding <1,54814×10^(-3) ?, voltage drop 4,564<51,11° V and strong conductivity 883,2 A, do calculating as a basis for the choice of protection devices A good design has a design document that includes 1) calculations 2) single line diagram 3) multi line diagram 4) environmental conditions, so as to guarantee work safety and safety.
