Abstract :
Indonesia is on the equator which has great sunlight potential so that it can be utilized as one of reneweable energy source in Indonesia, that is Solar Power Plant. This study generally plans about design, selection solar modules, inverter and potention feasibilty of solar intensity at the reasearch location, displaying result from software and economically using the the Payback Period , NPV, IRR, and Profitability Index (PI) methods againts four different scenarios, the first scenario corresponds to subscription rate electricity by Perusahaan Listrik Negara ( PLN ), the second scenario based on government regulation, the third scenario corresponds the highest feed in tariff solar power plant and the fourth scenario with a sale price that is considered feasible. The electicity will be provide by rooftop solar power plant 430 KWp capacity. Based on the calculation results asssuming 1 USD is Rp.14,000.00-. First scenario the IRR 4%, NPV of $ 185,861 (2.6 Billion Rupiah) and PI 1.452 with payback period of 8.14 years, the second scenario is obtain IRR of -1 %, NPV of $ -38,411 (-537.7 Million Rupiah) with payback period of 13 years, the third scenario is obtain IRR of 26%, NPV of $ 1,252,848 (17.6 Billion Rupiah) and PI 4.128 with payback period of 3 years and the fourth scenario IRR of 10%, NPV of $ 353 448 (4.9 Billion Rupiah) and PI 2.078 with a payback period for 4.8 years. Sensitifity analysis is used as a potential mehod that can affect the investment ( IRR, NPV, Payback Period and Profitability Index ). In addition, natural factor and climate risk can affect energy produced.
