Abstract :
The high frequency of the construction of flyovers and also the less of available land was forced to make the flyovers was built in less favorable geological conditions, in soft ground. One thing which is so important in soft ground condition is foundation's work. This work requires analysis and implementation methods which are appropriate and correct to get the best cost and best implementation time. On the construction of the overpass, located on the road Pegangsaan Dua Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, the foundation pile was built on that area. However, because of the condition of the land, it was planned to use pile foundation design, this is because the alternative foundation to be used if the top of the soft soil or ground water level is high beside bored foundation, pile foundation. The planning of the foundation?s design will be calculated from the dimensions and depth as well as the carrying capacity of pile foundation, then followed by the cost of the work and the time of execution in order to obtain cost and time of each foundations. Then it can be analyzed that the pile foundation is the effective and efficient foundation, for both in terms of the amount used 681 pieces, the cost of the required Rp. 40.293.116.639, - and also the expected times 93 days using the two instruments, compared with a bored pile foundation with the amount used 377 pieces, cost needed Rp. 56.488.178.239, - and took 131 days by using two tools.
