Abstract :
The Balaraja Baru 1,2 subsystem is one of the subsystems located in the Banten province electricity system. The power requirements of the Balaraja Baru 1,2 subsystem are currently supplied by IBT 500/150 kV 1,2 Balaraja Baru. The loading of IBT 500/150 kV on the Balaraja Baru 1,2 subsystem is quite high, if one of the IBT on subsystem trips it make another IBTs overload. Therefore, Over Load Shedding (OLS) protection is needed to handle the disorder. In the 2019 operation plan, IBT 500/150 kV Balaraja Baru will be configured by IBT 500/150 kV 1 Lengkong. In this paper will be discussced the implementation scheme of OLS on the Balaraja Baru 1,2 - Lengkong 1 Subsystem by making a load release simulation and creating an IBT scenario trip using the Digital Simulations and Electrical NeTwork Calculation Program (DIGSILENT).
