Abstract :
Solar power plant (PLTS) is one of alternative solutions from conventional generating systems negative effect on indonesian's ships. This PLTS system is used to support technology improvement from environtmentally friendly ships from global warming issues. The benefits of implementing this PLTS system is to reduce generator fuel consumption and to reduce ship's exhaust emissions. The election of this PLTS system caused by overflow solar potention in indonesia. In this study using technical and economic analysis method to plan this system as lighting source by using Omarrasheed cargo ship as the study object. This PLTS system is designed to supply electricity with estimated energy requirements every day around 57,6 kWh, replacing the used of diesel generator. Planning this system need 81 m2 land area, 1 array with 42 solar panels that bundled in 6 series and 7 paralel on the ships. Other components needed in this planning is 1 piece SCC, 21 piece of batteries and 1 piece inverter with the amount of output solar plant power 23451,25 kWh/year. Performance Ratio (PR) in this PLTS system as reference that this PLTS system is decent is 84% with starting investation Rp. 657.206.102 that include the components expenses and instalation.
