Abstract :
Diesel power plants are usually used to meet electricity needs in small loads, especially for remote new areas, rural electricity and to supply the electricity needs of a factory. The operation of a diesel plant depends heavily on fuel. Where the fuel used is fuel oil. The purpose of this analysis is to determine the effect on loading on fuil consumption and the optimization of the diesel engine is working at the diesel power plant. The process of collecting data by collecting company data and reprocessing it to obtain the load data curve and SFC. From the cure obtained on the Deutz engine, the result obtained the greater the loud produced, the more fuel consumption. For Allen engine 2 the greater the loud the less fuel consumption. Optimazation that occurs in the Deutz engine at 642 load with its SFC value is 0.2328. For Allen 2 engine at 0.2556 load with is SFC value is 02467
