Abstract :
The need for electricity continues to grow rapidly so that PLN demands as an electric power supplier to be able to supply electricity continuously. The distribution network system is part of an electrical power system that is close to the customer. The 20 kV power distribution process that uses medium distribution line as one of the main delivery media causes the acceptance of electrical energy on the consumer side depending on the conditions and the realibity performance of SUTM and its supporting equipment. In connection with operating data in PT. PLN (Persero) Sub ULP Betun, it was seen that several times there were power outages. This study will discuss the SUTM failure for further analysis using the FMEA (Failure Modes and Effect Analysis) method. This study is using qualitative methods and literature studies. The most common failure is in conductor/wire conductors. Furthermore, the conductor?s interference is explored which parts cause interference/damage. The results of this study found that the disturbance caused by aluminium material in cables and conductor that are not resistant to heat and elastic so easily damaged.
