Abstract :
High voltage underground line cable between Mampang Baru Substation and Abadi Guna Papan Substation are uses Oil Filled Cable which is has been operating since 2004. Underground line cable is protected by Line Differential Relay as main protection with a backup protection Over Current Relay. The type relay used is a numerical relay with a Fault Recorder. This finale paper with a method of analyzing some fault interference from fault recorder in the relay and comparing with real data. Fault Recorder is used for analyzing or calculation distance of fault. The results of the review were obtained based on the results of field observations by PLN. Analyzing the interference from fault recorder can determine the type of interference, the time of the disturbance reaches the accuracy of milisecon, the magnitude the current during the disturbance, waveform and changes that occur of magnitude. Calculations using input from disturbance recording data give unsatisfactory results because Underground cable impedance data are not available.
