Abstract :
In this day and age there are still many areas that have not been touched or cannot enjoy the name of electricity. In this study using quantitative methods, quantitative methods are research methods in the form of numbers and processing in the form of calculations and the results can be presented in the form of graphs and tables. The problem with electricity is due to economic limitations and geographic conditions. Centralized electricity distribution systems have not been able to cover all areas in need, such as small islands which are separated far enough from the large islands. By utilizing local renewable energy sources available in each region, Microgrids can be used as a solution to realize energy-independent regions for areas not covered by electricity. So from the required planning of a microgrid that has quite good reliability and has a strong back up if PLTS in a microgrid is not able to produce the power needed by the customer, as in this planning has 2 back-ups, namely the PLN sea cable and generator. In this plan there are several important components whose capacity must be calculated, namely solar panels, batteries, and generators. And after being analyzed, the capacity of solar panels is 100 kWp. And from this plan the value of Performance Ratio is 90% so that this plan can be said to be feasible.
