Abstract :
Interbus Transformaor (IBT) is kind of power transformator that used to transfer electical energy from 500 kV voltage system to 150 kV. The IBT protection must be good because IBT is very important element of electricity system. One of IBT fault is called Overload Current. This fault is caused by lossing one or more supply of electricity power that damge or trip. This could lead into overload on IBT that is still operate to supply electricity power to subsystem. Continously overload in IBT could lead IBT damaged and broken. To resolve this fault, protection do a defense scheme called Overload Shedding (OLS). OLS is action that caused of IBT overload by release some load like 150/20 kV power transformator and transmition line. In the operation, OLS done step by step to maintain system stability and load released efficiency. In the Lontar ? Balaraja Baru 3,4 ?Kembangan 1 subsystem, OLS scheme done by 3 step with total load release is 542,3 MW. The first step release 210,1 MW, second step release 163 MW dan third step release 169,3 MW.
