Abstract :
Distribution of electric power substations (Gl) has many electricallosses especially Medium Voltage. PT PLN (Persero) area Madiun is electric power supplier for high voltage 150kV, 20kV medium voltage customers and customers low voltage 220/380V customer. Each distribution of electric power subsfafrbns (Gl) divided fo several feeders, depending on the coverage area of each distibution substation. The voltage of the feeder is medium-voltage 20kV which will be distributed. ln the distribution process, there are /osses experienced by the company, one of the voltage drop caused by the distribution lines. One of the worst experienced in Nglames feeders. With this analysis method, a bad voltage drop point of 13,23%o was obtained, and with a simulation of 12,76yo, it was to become a solution for the company, so fhe distribution process did not suffer /osses and was also in accordance with PLN's standard of voltage drop. The best repair solution used is to install a capacitor bank so that the voltage drop that occurs can be improved as it has been simulated that is equalto 5,57%o.
