Abstract :
The success of a project can be measured on two things, namely the benefits and timeliness of project completion (Soeharto, 1997). Both depend on careful planning of the method of implementation, use and scheduling tool. For the On the implementation of construction work using heavy equipment required accurate planning in order to achieve a project with costs and optimal execution time. Therefore we need an analysis of the usage of heavy equipment that will be used, so it can produce proper alternative heavy equipment for the construction of a project. On the Development Project district8 apartment and office towerSenopati South Jakarta found a problem on one of the tower crane productivity static because it is considered to have a small and minimal availability section that takes a long time for jacking up, of course, it impedes the progress of the project, to overcome, the most appropriate step is to move and transform these into a climbing tower crane. To the authors will discuss and analyze this case study, first author will analyze where the most effective position for the tower crane climbing in put, then I would do an analysis of the beams that will be the foundation of the tower crane, whether the beam is strong enough to bear the weight of tower crane, if not then the beam must be redesigned. After the analysis concluded that the static tower crane converted into a static climbing void switching positions in the area of buildings with a beam analysis does not require special reinforcement
