Abstract :
The growth in demand for electric energy, the availability of fossil fuels, the use of renewable energy and the potential of geothermal energy (Geothermal) in Indonesia, which reaches 40% of the world's geothermal potential, are of interest in this study. An electric power system must be of good quality. One of them is the voltage that must be within the tolerance limit, which is within the tolerance limit of + 5% and -10% by the standards of PLN and ANSI C 84.1. Then the quality of the power supply in the electric power system will be more optimal. The results of the study of the effect of excitation currents on voltage volatility obtained the highest induced GLD value of 11.82 KV with an excitation current value of 456 A, while the lowest value of induced GLD was 11.7 KV with an excitation current value of 460 A. Calculation of percentage of generator supply voltage which is in accordance with the standards of PLN and ANSI C 84.1 obtained + 0.16% and -0.85% as well as load conditions and temperature pressures that change at the same time. The stability analysis process is simulated using ETAP 12.6 software which is applied to analyze the voltage drop flow. The stability of this voltage is affected by the load requirements in the network that are proportional to the excitation current, and the amount of temperature pressure to the generating system a
