Abstract :
In this Final Project, the author discusses 200 KVA Uninterruptible Power Supply as a Backup Electricity Source at the Indonesian Public Aviation Navigation Service Provider Institute (LPPNPI), Branch Office of the Jakata Air Traffic Service Center (JATSC), Soekarno-Hatta Airport. The problem is that there is a disruption in the distribution system of electricity to the outage which results in disruption of operations on the flight navigation system. The disruption of distribution does not only occur on the external side (main feeder) and its distribution (main power system distribution network), but can also occur on the internal side (supporting distribution equipment) including one of its equipment, namely UPS. By conducting field observations to obtain relevant data regarding the reliability of UPS at the LPPNPI Public Corporation (Airnav Indonesia) JATSC Branch Office Soekarno-Hatta Airport used a quantitative method. The observations from this research are based on the operation of the UPS system working in a closed loop (uninterrupted) where a battery on the UPS can be used as a temporary input for 21 hours on load capability installed in JATSC. when experiencing distribution disruptions from PLN secures vital equipment in flight navigation services that are always operating.
