Abstract :
In meeting the electricity demand, based on the data at the time of maintenance measurement, there is an uneven distribution of the load between each phase. This is because the new connection process does not pay attention to the condition of the load between the phases at the distribution substation and the load distribution occurs which is initially evenly distributed but due to the misalignment of the time of use or the ignition of these loads, it causes a load imbalance that can cause losses. (losses). Substation KT0040 with a capacity of 100kVA, Arterial feeder at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Pontianak City. From the inspection results, it is found that the load imbalance is in the form of an uneven phase load. The calculated imbalance percentage is 71.33%. The next step is to level the load where the R = 34A phase, S = 36 A phase, and T = 37A phase. from the calculation of the percentage after the equalization of the load is obtained 2.67%. From the results after the work of equalizing the difference between before and after 68.66%. The imbalance that occurs at the KT 0040 Substation is the occurrence of losses due to the neutral current flowing in the neutral conductor. Which is where the value of losses before being balanced is 1.24kW to 0.03kW after being balanced. This is done by using the load equalization method by changing the Home Connection (SR) jumper. the transfer of jumpers from the large R phase lame load is divided into S and T phases. It is carried out after equalization and re-measures the total load.
