Abstract :
Student services such as Career Development is an important activity by the students especially for the alumni, which is the central repository of information about jobs. During the Job Fair information systems are still in the College of Engineering website content PLN. With these students feel less effective, because the job site users tend to be passive users and have difficulty in accessing via web browser android smartphones. The research objective is to design the application Career Development Center (CDC) STT PLN Android-based smartphones. This application is made by using the prototype development methods, namely the identification of the problem, literature review, analysis of system requirements, system design, application development, testing, discussion and report writing. In this android based application services data exchange using web service technology with JSON (Java Script Object Notation). Where the information system is built with the programming language JAVA, PHP, XML and PHPMySql as the database server. The design of a mobile-based system of student services to help students and alumni active in the search for the latest job information efficiently through the online Android-based gadgets. And for the company to add jobs and accessing information through the information Jobseeker Android-based gadgets.
