Abstract :
Energy distribution from PT. PLN to customers (load) is the purpose of electricity
distribution. Transformer is a distribution system in which electrical components are used
to transfer power from substations to user centers. In this study, a transformer loading
analysis was carried out at a distribution of 20kV in PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Takengon.
The transformer under scrutiny is the transformer on the GY 05 refinery. Before
analyzing, of course, the researcher will look for the information and data needed. So
that from the data obtained, calculations and improvements will be made to transformers
that experience imbalances and compare with simulations using ETAP 16. From the
calculations found that the load on the GY 05 transformer is in accordance with the
simulation report using ETAP 16. There were eleven transformers that experienced
imbalances in the GY 05 refinery. Power losses from transformers that experienced
imbalances amounted to 1.1536 Kw. So that the cost of losses due to these power losses
was rp 3,368,873.04 / month. The smaller the power losses that occur in the transformer,
the greater the percentage of transformer efficiency and reduce the cost of PT losses.
PLN (Persero) ULP Takengon due to the imbalance of transformer loads on the GY 05
supplier.
