Abstract :
Digital techniques is a basic subject for education in Indonesia, especially for logic gates subject, in addition to having an abstract perception, a good understanding of the concept is important because to understand the new concepts is necessary to understanding of previous concepts. The problems mentioned above will be more easily understood when equipped with study aids. Designed a software product requires a step-by-step to do in making the design of the application of this learning medium. Design of application uses a multimedia methodology which consists of 6 (six) phases, namely the concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. Based on the design of learning tools that have been made, this application can provide the convenience for the students or academics to understand the about logic gates and beside support features such as tutorial, supporting theory, save the result of the logic gate series. In addition, this application is also expected to explore the ability of individual students and creates the attraction, which is expected to give motivation for students in improving learning achievement and outcomes.
