Abstract :
People really need lighting in their daily life, especially when doing activities at home,
but the need for lighting is still not paid attention to the light intensity of each room and
the threshold for exposure to magnetic fields. A case study conducted in one residential
house with a total of 7 rooms found that the use of existing lamps had too high a light
intensity so that it did not comply with the provisions of SNI 03-6575 of 2001 so that the
value of exposure to the magnetic field was also of high value. Therefore, the researchers
conducted research on optimization of CFL and LED lamps with the aim of knowing the
intensity of light, knowing the power usage, knowing the difference in the value of
exposure to magnetic fields and knowing which type of CFL and LED lamps were the
most optimal, with the method carried out, namely taking measurements at home.
occupancy by measuring light intensity, measuring power and measuring exposure to
magnetic fields then calculating the energy use of the lamp for 30 days assuming 12 hours
of use. Based on the results of the study, obtained from the results of measurements and
calculations, the best configuration was obtained, namely the light intensity according to
SNI 03-6575 Year 2001 and the exposure to the magnetic field was smaller according to
SPLN 112: 1994. The results of the calculation of the total electricity tariff for the entire
room for 30 years. days with CFL and LED configurations get optimization and can save
from the use of existing lamps of Rp. 82,929 or 66% more efficient.
