Abstract :
To ensure continuity and reliability of electricity distribution, maintenance is carried out. However, this maintenance is still often done blackouts. The maintenance system or substation revision carried out by PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Marunda Area which was carried out by extinguishing distribution substations which resulted in blackouts to customers during the maintenance work. This is a concern because customers feel blackouts which will have an impact on kWh sales, an increase in ENS (Energy Not Suplied) and an increase in the SAIDI (System Average Interuption Duration Index) value which will be even greater. To reduce this, PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Marunda Area applies a maintenance system with a non-extinguishing method or by carrying out work in a voltage state (PDKB) by moving the load of the substation that will be carried out for maintenance to the Mobile Substation Unit (UGB) or Mobile Transformer Unit (UTB). The research was conducted using quantitative methods, namely research procedures that produce data in the form of numbers that can be analyzed. In the calculation of the energy saved at the BK196 substation is 61.83 kWh, at the PK165 substation it is 141.98 kWh and at the CK190 substation 63.25 kWh. The minimum extinguishing method at the BK196 substation is 46.37, at the PK165 substation it is 106.48 and at the CK190 substation 47.38 kWh. This proves that the application of maintenance with the nonextinguishing method can save energy that is not channeled by 66,772 kWh with a rupiah rotation of Rp. 97,954.52/month. The SAIDI value is smaller when implementing a maintenance system with a minimal outage method of 03 minutes/customer/year than a total outage of 1.2 minutes/customer/year.
