Abstract :
Electrical energy is now very necessary considering the community's need for
electrical energy is increasing, both in the household sector and to meet the ongoing
production in the industrial sector around the world. In generating electricity, it is
necessary to optimize the generator. The goal is the production of power generated from
the generator is expected to be maximized. To get maximum power, it is necessary to do
optimization research, one of which is to regulate the flow of water entering the turbine.
The efficiency value in unit 1 is 95.2 and unit 2 is 92.1. The water discharge required to
maximize the output power is 62 m3/s with a power generated of 1669,360 kW, while
unit 2 is 2.72 m3/s with a power generated of 1676,642 kW. The total water discharge
required to maximize the output power of the generator is 5.34 m3/s with an output
power of 3346,001 kW.
