Abstract :
The increasing demand for electrical energy that always increases over time is caused by several factors, one of which is the increase in population. Likewise, the demand for electrical energy in the DKI Jakarta Province, which is the center of government, will experience an increase in electrical energy. In this study, it discusses the loading forecasting of DKI Jakarta's electricity compared to the population growth in DKI Jakarta to determine the capacity of the existing load forecasting in the distribution sstem of PT. PLN (Persero) UP2B. In this study using a simple linear regression method for the variable X as the population and Y as the peak loading. The Percentage Error value is 9.61% and for the estimated loading of electricity in 2022, which is 11,056.07 MW, for 2023 11,234.47 MW, in 2024 it is 11,412.87 MW, in 2025 it is 11,591.28 MW, and in 2026 for The result of the growth of electricity loading in DKI Jakarta is 11,553.50 MW
