Abstract :
The electricity system continues to develop every year, especially the occurrence of
customer growth or the burden of electric power which will be greater due to the increase in
the population so that the demand used will also increase. This resulted in frequent
disturbances in the distribution system, an overload on the transformer. Where there is a
transducer in PT. The overloaded PLN UP3 Marunda is in the PK51N substation in Forest
Feeder with a loading ratio of 92% and the load unbalance value of the b section is 24.63%,
the d section is 29.31%, and the electronic section is 25%. The solution is the load rupture
method on the transformer which is experiencing an overload condition. So that after
breaking the load on the PK51N substation, the load ratio becomes 73% and the unbalance
value of the b section becomes 9.3%, the d section 3.3% and the electronic section is 7%. So
that the load rupture method is one of the ways that can overcome the overload on the
transformer.
