Abstract :
DGA stands for Dissolved Gas Analysis which is a test on transformer oil that can indicate a
failure in the transformer, this test was carried out at GI Rajapaksi ULTG Bekasi using 2
transformers to determine if there was a failure in both transformers, the TDCG (Total
Dissolved Combustible Gas) method was used. which indicates the condition of the transformer
based on the gas content in the oil, in this method one of the transformers is in condition 2
which means the gas content has exceeded the normal limit so that my investigation was carried
out quickly with more frequent and routine sampling of limits, then the Key Gas method is a
method analysis which indicates a failure in the transformer with this method states that there is
excessive heating of the cellulose (overheating cellulose) transformer with carbon monoxide
CO2 above 50%, then the Duval's Triangle method indicates the presence of par tial discharge
in the transformer with a value of 100% methane gas content (CH4).
