Abstract :
Carbon gas emissions or carbon footprints produced in activities at the Samarinda
Forestry Service, which will cause the greenhouse effect, this will cause an increased
atmosphere and have an impact on rising earth temperatures. This will result in a lot of
heat being held by the earth which will make the earth's temperature increase. In this
study the quantitative approach and through interviews. calculations that will analyze
energy economic factors for PLTS On grid systems. And Carbon footprint analysis. The
carbon footprint can be calculated in Building A and in Building B. The calculation
method uses data collection in the form of electronic equipment used, the number of
official vehicles in use. Cost Reduction is the ability to save after the construction of
PLTS. This calculation is done by using PLN bill data. So it is obtained for the calculation
of Carbon at the Samarinda Forestry Service of 1234.41 Kg CO2. From the calculation
of Fuel Emission by using a motorized vehicle in the form of a car, it can be 960 Kg CO2.
From the results of the calculation of the average production potential within a period of
1 year on PLTS On grid at the Samarinda Forestry Service, the results obtained from cost
savings with an efficiency of 17%.
