Abstract :
Due to system disruptions to customers causing outages, in the districts, especially in the Janarata ULP area, there are frequent outages. Factors that are often experienced from the causes of this disturbance are falling wood, landslides, the settlement process in these conditions is very impactful and losses to the consumer. To reduce the outage, maintenance and repair of the 20 kV medium voltage distribution network was carried out by using the PDKB technique. Work in a state of voltage (PDKB) is an operation in the field related to maintenance, expansion of the network and repair. It is carried out in a state of tension or by not extinguishing the network that is operating or working. The quantitative method used in the study is comparative, which compares SAIDI and SAIFI before and after the implementation of PDKB. Based on the results of data processing, the kwh saved in September and October 2021 was 21,476,4496 kWh and the rupiah saved was Rp. 23,940,657.43. so from the comparison, it can be concluded that with the implementation of the PDKB method in the Janarata ULP, it can reduce the value of the SAIDI and SAIFI Indices so that it becomes better.
