Abstract :
New and renewable energy is an alternative energy developed due to the increasing use
of electrical energy and also because there are fewer sources of electrical energy made
from fossils. Solar Power Plant (PLTS) is a power plant that converts sunlight into
electric current, one of the configurations used is the On-Grid system. This study
discusses aspects of the solar system, investment costs and economic costs, as well as
planning using the PVsyst, HOMER, and HelioScope applications. This study used a
monocrystalline module @450 Wp from 12 modules and an inverter with a capacity of 5
kW. The economic feasibility parameters used are Payback Period, Net Present Value
(NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Profitability Index. From the calculation
results, the initial investment cost for the solar power plant system used as a plan is IDR
67,864,000 with operational and maintenance costs of IDR 678,640/year. For energy
costs (Cost of Energy) of IDR 1,338/kWh. The results of the investment feasibility analysis
showed that the NPV had a positive value of IDR 44,491,166, namely the IRR value of
14.27%. If the NPV and IRR values show positive values then the investment for this solar
power plant system project is worth it. For the payback period (Pay Back Period) occurs
in the 11th year in the period of operation of the project for 25 years.
