Abstract :
A 11.5/6.3 kV UAT (Unit Auxiliary Transformer) power transformer is equipment
that functions to transform a higher system voltage to a lower system voltage for the needs
of indicator equipment, measuring instruments/meters and relays. UAT (Unit Auxiliary
Transformer) power of 11.5/6.3 kV has decreased or malfunctioned. Therefore, it is
necessary to conduct a test to determine the condition of the 11.5/6.3 kV UAT (Unit
Auxiliary Transformer) power transformer. One of the test methods used on the 11.5/6.3
kV UAT (Unit Auxiliary Transformer) power transformer is the tangent delta test where
this test serves to determine the decrease in the insulation ability of an equipment and the
value of the capacitance of the equipment, in the delta tangent test at This transformer uses
the Omicron CPC 100 test equipment. The factors that affect the value of the tangent delta
test results are temperature, dirt, humidity and damage to the transformer mechanism. The
delta tangent test carried out refers to the IEEE std C57.152-2013 standard which says if
the delta tangent value does not exceed 0.5% then the transformer is in good condition. If
the tangent delta value is 0.5%-1% it can still be tolerated. If the tangent delta value is
>1% then the insulation quality of the transformer has decreased
